Cory Treffiletti

Cory Treffiletti has been in the Internet Advertising and Marketing Industry since 1995 and is currently the Vice President of Media Services for Real Branding. Cory previously held executive positions such as SVP, Managing Director for Carat Interactive San Francisco as well as other positions within i-Traffic, Freestyle Interactive, Carat Interactive and Carat Fusion. With each agency he has been responsible for developing and building out media teams, strategic teams and offices capable of managing the interactive marketing direction for such diverse clients as Warner Bros. Home Video, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, BMW, Disney, ESPN, Sega, Electronic Arts, Western Union, Palm, TiVo, Kodak and Oracle. Cory has also managed his own interactive marketing consultancy called The Arkitektive, as well as held executive positions within IUMA, the Internet Underground Music Archive, and his own record promotion company, "How We Got Here Productions". In what’s left of his “spare” time Cory also writes a weekly column for Mediapost, titled "The Online Spin", on Wednesdays. This column has run for more than 4 years and is consistently one of the most read columns offered by Mediapost.

Tim Danford

Tim Danford, Technology Partner [Storm Ventures]
Tim joined Storm Ventures from Cisco Systems, where he was a technology leader in the Business Development organization. Tim worked with senior executives to develop strategies for entering new markets and was responsible for developing technology strategy, identifying opportunities and working with business development managers to execute investment, partnering and acquisition transactions. During Tim's 6-year tenure at Cisco, he played a key role in developing Cisco's wireless strategy. He has over 18 years of extensive Internetworking and Telecommunications experience gained while working at Cisco Systems, Synoptics and Ameritech Information Systems. His technical education is in ship-board radio and telecommunications systems from the U.S. Coast Guard and studied at the Advanced Data Networking Institute in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Tim studied Criminal Justice at Kent State University in Ohio.

Greg Whitehead

Greg Whitehead is an established authority on digital identity technology for web services and mobile computing. As co-founder and CTO of Trustgenix, acquired by Hewlett-Packard in December 2005, Mr. Whitehead was responsible for the architecture and development of the industry's first standards-based federation server and played an active role in the development of federation standards within the Liberty Alliance Project and Oasis standards organizations. Mr. Whitehead was named Top 25 CTO for 2005 by InfoWorld Magazine. Prior to founding Trustgenix, Mr. Whitehead was co-founder of Structured Arts Computing Corporation, which developed cross-platform tools for X.509 digital certificates and public-key infrastructure conforming to the IETF PKIX standard. Structured Arts was acquired by Signio in July 1999 and Signio was acquired by VeriSign in March of 2000
Mr. Whitehead previously served as a senior scientist in Apple Computer's Advanced Technology Group, where he developed protocols for mobile computing. Before Apple, he worked at Sun Microsystems on network naming and the OMG CORBA distributed object standard. Mr. Whitehead holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University where he worked with renowned distributed computing systems expert Dr. David Cheriton.

Mike Perlis

Mike Perlis is a Managing Partner at SOFTBANK Capital Partners. Perlis has over twenty years of experience as a top executive at leading magazine publishing and multi-media companies. He specializes in building organizations that profitably manage brand development and maximization across multiple media delivery platforms. Most recently Prior to joining Softbank, he was President and CEO of Ziff Davis Publishing, the pre-eminent authority on technology and the Internet. Perlis has held the top posts at TVSM, Playboy, GQ, and IDG. He was group publisher at Rodale Press where he launched the Active Sports Network and co-founded Men's Health Magazine. He began his career as an entrepreneur, founding and managing New England Publications. Perlis sits on the boards of: GSI Commerce, Inc. (formerly Global Sports Interactive), Enpocket, Webhire, Inc., World Publications and Zinio.com. He is a member of the Board of the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and a Trustee of Outward Bound USA.

Brad Benzing

Brendan Benzing brings more than 17 years of media experience to his role as Vice President of Mobile Search & Marketing for Infospace. Brendan's extensive background and industry experience has been uniquely focused around advertising supported interactive products and services across television, mobile and PC environments. He is an active member of the Mobile Marketing Association, and is a frequent speaker at mobile and digital media conferences and trade shows. Prior to joining Infospace, Brendan spent 7 years with AOL, most recently as Executive Director in AOL's Directional Media Group -- which included AOL search, commerce, and local properties. Passionate about the power of interactive media and of the role of advertising in developing these mediums -- like mobile - Brendan understands the needs from both the buy and sell side of advertising and knows the importance of supporting publishers and buyers to create healthy sustainable markets. Before AOL, Brendan held positions of increasing responsibility at Bell Atlantic, now part of Verizon. Brendan is a graduate of Drexel University, and resides in Seattle with his wife Cindy.

Sanjay Subhedar

Sanjay Subhedar, General Partner [Storm Ventures]
Prior to founding Storm Ventures in October 2000, Sanjay Subhedar was at E-TEK Dynamics, Inc. (fiber optic component manufacturer) since December 1997, serving most recently as its Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer. Sanjay played a key role in E-TEK's growth from 400 employees to over 5000 employees in less than three years, E-TEK's Initial Public Offering in 1998 as well as E-TEK's merger with JDS Uniphase in July 2000. Prior to ETEK Sanjay was the Chief Financial Officer for StrataCom, Inc. from its inception in January 1986 until its merger with Cisco Systems in July 1996. Following StrataCom's merger with Cisco Systems, in July 1996 he served as Vice President of Cisco's WAN business unit until October 1997. Sanjay earned a B.S. from the University of Bombay, India and an M.B.A. from Indiana University. He was born in Mumbai, India.

Jeb Miller

Jeb Miller has a decade of experience working with early stage companies and focuses his investments on innovative opportunities across the mobile and enterprise applications and infrastructure sectors. Jeb currently serves on the Boards for Ad Infuse, Innotas and Pano Logic and is an advisor to ONStor.

Jeb joined ComVentures from Worldview Technology Partners, where he invested in enterprise software and data center infrastructure companies. Prior to Worldview, Miller co-founded Morgan Stanley Technology Ventures, where he focused on investments in the data center infrastructure sector. Jeb's prior investments and Board seats include FineGround Networks (acquired by Cisco), IntruVert Networks (acquired by McAfee), LogLogic and Rhapsody Networks (acquired by Brocade Communications).

Miller was previously Director of Business Development for Scient, an Internet consulting firm, where he launched and managed the firm's corporate venture arm. Prior to Scient, Miller was an investment banker with Morgan Stanley's global technology group in Menlo Park, Boston and New York. Miller graduated summa cum laude from Harvard with a B.A. in Economics.
