Automattic offers a number of products on a freemium model so anyone can start web publishing for free, and with the choice to pay extra for premium features.
Automattic has 120 employees, including nearly 100 who are focused on product development and support. Automattic is led by CEO Toni Schneider and founder/president Matt Mullenweg and expects to grow to 150 people by the end of 2012.
