Bacchus Vascular was founded by Dr. Thomas J. Fogarty in 1999 as an innovative medical device company dedicated to help physicians battle limb and life threatening blood clots in their patients. Currently, Bacchus has two product platforms, the Fino System and the Trellis System. Both products are CE Marked with the Trellis System receiving 510(k) clearance this year, as a peripheral infusion catheter for selective infusion of physician specified agents including thrombolytics. To date, over 300 patients have been treated worldwide with these Bacchus blood clot management systems.
