BigTent is a web-based organization and communication portal for groups. Groups can plan events, manage memberships, host discussion forums, collect payments, and organize subgroups. Nearly all functionality (e.g., forums) of BigTent is free. However, there is a small transaction fee to collect membership dues or event payments.
Examples of groups using BigTent are parenting groups, neighborhood groups, school groups, alumni and professional groups, and hobby groups.
