| Description: | Imagine issuing a computer to a new employee and getting it back two years later - with nothing else installed on it but the applications and patches you had centrally rolled out. Sound like fantasy? Many companies lack even basic application control and device controls that ensure their desktops and data are protected. In today's culture of compliance, you can no longer turn a blind eye to this problem. CIOs and IT departments are under tremendous pressure to provide a business-friendly approach to Windows lockdown and whitelisting that can assure the integrity of the desktop environment without compromising user satisfaction and productivity. That's why Bit9, the pioneer and leader in Enterprise Application Whitelisting, developed Parity™, the only policy-driven Whitelisting solution for managing the applications and devices that can run on your Windows PCs. Whether you need to lock down your desktops, block unauthorized and vulnerable applications, or generate audit trails of portable storage activity, Bit9 will give you the greatest degree of visibility and control over your computers. What makes Bit9 so unique is an extremely powerful set of whitelisting capabilities for identifying and classifying every piece of software running in your environment. Upon that foundation you can quickly and effectively judge if that software should be running in your environment, and control it directly through Parity. Learn more about how Parity Enterprise Application Whitelisting works. The result is a demonstrable improvement in the integrity, security, and compliance of your Windows desktop environment. |
