Bossa Nova is a Pittsburgh-based, robotic toy start-up company, spun out of Carnegie Mellon’s Robotic Institute. Bossa Nova was launched in order to realize our dream of giving kids everywhere an opportunity to interact with a new generation of toy robots. Bossa Nova’s robots are unlike anything you have seen – they are agile and dynamic and you will think they are alive!

Kids love Bossa Nova robots because they are funny, exciting, and fascinating. They laugh at them, chase ’em, and want to be their friend and learn more about them.

Parents love Bossa Nova robots because they have a family-friendly play pattern, involving communications with family and friends. Bossa Nova also has incorporated educational features that occur as the child plays with the robots; things like healthy eating and programming.
