Buzzintown – The one-stop-shop for all information related to events and happenings – musicals, plays, book reads, concerts, sports, live bands, exhibitions and expos, and, very importantly, those that are personal/social in nature.
Most media (print, radio, TV), for lack of space or time, tend to focus on topics that are big, and will catch peoples attention. For events, coverage revolves around the Shakira or Jagjit Singh concerts; Pt. Hariprasad or Ustad Zakir´s recitals; Rajnikant or SRK´s release; a Consumer expo or a Booker award winning author. Period. Buzzintown will incorporate these events too (their information is easy to get), but our stress will be on the long tail of events – those that are not likely to get any media coverage. We know for a fact that they are good quality “happenings”, with artists that have a local and regional presence, but their achievements are not big enough. We want to put such events before you – let you be the decision maker.
