Cardiva's flagship product, the Boomerang™ ClosureWire Vascular Closure Device, provides safe, efficient, and effective closure of the arterial puncture site following catheterization. The Boomerang ClosureWire Vascular Closure System is approved in Canada, has the CE Mark in Europe, and has recently received 510k clearance from the FDA in October, 2004. The Boomerang ClosureWire technique creates a site-specific compression between the inside of the arteriotomy and just outside the tissue tract, resulting in a targeted internal compression of both the arteriotomy and tract.
