CloudShield is creating revolutionary new content control platforms for wire speed applications that reduce costs, enhance existing network services, and enable new services to be quickly deployed across multiple markets. CloudShield has taken a unique approach in developing its solutions. Rather than creating purpose-built appliances, with software supplied by the vendor, it has built very high performance general-purpose packet processors, with a fully programmable interface to the packet processing. Initial products are its CA-5000 Wire Speed Server, which when augmented by its RAVE (Rapid Application Visualization Environment) software forms a content control platform. The net result is that new applications and functions can be rapidly developed and applied to high-throughput network environments., avoiding long development cycles and the explosion of separate, limited-purpose appliances.«Less
