Defensio was created because we hate spam, in all its incarnations, and with all its ramifications. When several prominent bloggers noted that comment spam was becoming overly burdensome, we threw the Defensio machine into gear and started coding our Rails hearts out. That’s right, we’re a Ruby on Rails shop, and proud of it – so much so, in fact, that we sponsor and organize Montreal on Rails."
