Dipsie was founded in the Summer of 2003 to enable people to search more of the Web and find more relevant results than possible using current search engine technologies. We achieve this by crawling the 99% of the Web"hidden" behind technologies that boggle current robots and organize our results using algorithms based on the way people use language. Today less than 1% of pages available on the Web have been indexed using traditional robot technologies. These pages are retrieved and organized in less-than-intuitive ways, making it difficult and frustrating for users to find what they want. Leveraging research and technologies under development for the last two years, Dipsie is able to retrieve and store more of the Web, helping people find what they're looking for more quickly and easily.«Less
