Entrisphere is building the first access platform that offers incumbent carriers an operationally transparent pathway from today's overlay networks to tomorrow's converged multiservice networks. Entrisphere was established to remove some of the larger hurdles carriers face when simplifying legacy access networks and deploying new data services. The goal was to develop a solution that worked with, not against, the telecom present mode of operation (PMO)—one that would draw on ILEC strengths in personnel, procedures, and software. To meet this goal, Entrisphere gathered a development team with extensive telecom, datacom, and world-class software expertise.
