EVE offers innovative intellectual property (IP) and hardware-assisted verification solutions and verification engineering services that accelerate the design of complex integrated circuits, prevalent in the communications, wireless, networking, computer, and consumer product markets. Emulation & Verification Engineering, EVE for short, was founded in April 2000 to explore emerging verification technologies, to create new verification solutions, and to advance the state-of-the-art of the verification discipline. The core competence of the company is in the field of hardware-assisted verification solutions, with emphasis on hardware emulation and the transaction-level verification methodology. EVE targets the ASIC, IP, and FPGA verification and embedded software validation markets in applications ranging from networking, to communications, graphics, computer, and consumer markets.«Less

| Name: | Zebu-XXL for ASIC and SOC Emulation |
| Product URL: | http://eve-team.com/products/zebu-xxl.php |
| Description: | ZeBu-XXL is a high capacity system emulator with the easy setup and debugging associated with emulation, but orders of magnitude better in price and performance. Configurable to handle designs from 12.5M to 100M ASIC gates in a compact, rack-mountable unit, and expandable to accommodate up to 200M ASIC gates via 2 interconnected units, ZeBu-XXL primarily aims at large-scale chip and system emulation applications. It is ideal for the system-integration phase of the design cycle where multiple logic blocks, multiple chips, and embedded software all must be verified together. Hardware design and software development teams can share the same system and design representation, and can easily collaborate when debugging complex hardware/software interactions. The net effect is that hardware/software integration takes place much earlier in the design cycle, thereby reducing silicon respins and accelerating time to market. ZeBu-XXL gives you the highest performance of any emulator in the market while offering the most cost-effective solution in the smallest footprint. The reason is that ZeBu-XXL has been architected to take advantage of the largest and latest generation FPGAs. The ZeBu compiler automatically handles any design, regardless of size, coding style, clocking scheme, or memory structure, making it easy to map even large designs. Features * Rapid setup: completely automated compiler from RTL so that you don't have to change your golden RTL * Design Capacity: from 12M to 100M ASIC gates; 4GB of design memory * Emulation Speed: up to 20 MHz design clock (system clock is 300 MHz) * Comprehensive Hardware Debugging: full visibility at run-time without recompilation * Integrated with popular Hardware Design Tools: co-simulation with VCS, NC and ModelSim; debug with Verdi * Memory Compiler: supports unlimited number of ports, scriptable for easy ASIC library conversion |
