John Foley, President

John Foley is a co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Pronto.com. Prior to Pronto.com, John spent three years as President and Chief Executive Officer of Evite.com where he brought the business to profitability with over 1000% growth in both traffic and revenue. Before Evite.com, John worked for Ticketmaster-Citysearch (now Ticketmaster), which was IACs first Internet investment, in several leadership roles including General Manager of Notification and Access for Ticketmaster and Director of Operations for Citysearch.com.

Prior to Ticketmaster-Citysearch, John worked for Mars, Inc.s M&M/Mars Division for five years in various operations management roles including Operations Shift Manager responsible for all Skittles and Starburst manufacturing for North America.

John has an MBA from Harvard and graduated with honors in Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology.

Laura Shesgreen, CFO

As CFO, Laura Shesgreen, is responsible for leading Skype’s finance, accounting, business intelligence and workplace resources functions, based at the company’s headquarters in Luxembourg.

Prior to joining Skype in 2007, Laura was CFO at NTERA, an Irish/U.S. company that produces chemical compounds used in the development of electronic information displays. She has also served as CFO at PointCast and Evite.

A native of Dublin, Laura is a fellow chartered accountant with a B.S. in computer science from University College Dublin. She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers before moving to Silicon Valley in the early 1990s.
