Floobs is an internet service offering tools for creating and distributing one’s own TV Channel anywhere in the world. All that is needed for live broadcasting is a video-enabled mobile phone (during spring 2008) or a computer with a webcam. The easy-to-use service is developed to meet the needs of communities and to speed the distribution of their shared content. The service, piloted in Finnish-language pilot during fall 2007, is now in international beta since the end of December.
