Description:	Increase Productivity through Accurate Imaging In this era of depleting resources, the questions of if, where, and how deep to drill are on every oil and gas company’s agenda. Accurate seismic images are critical for successful well positioning. These images, however, are often based on wrong assumptions about the subsurface structure. Geomage offers a highly effective method for addressing this challenge. The Geomage patented Multifocusing technology is a macro-model-independent technology that provides a cutting-edge alternative to conventional seismic processing. It is based on a non-hyperbolic moveout correction that provides a better approximation of true reflection time than the hyperbolic one, especially in complex geological environments. The method consists of stacking seismic data with arbitrary source–receiver distribution near the central points. The Multifocusing stacking procedure produces high quality images, close to an accurate zero-offset section. An optimal set of Multifocusing parameters is critically important for seismic wavefield analysis.
