As a designer for many years, I had accrued over 250GB of unsold, unused and spec artwork I had done for clients and for myself. It was just sitting there rotting on a backup drive. I know that I am not alone. Designers have always been forced into creating multiple layouts and numerous logo options. And for what? So the client can select the ugliest version of your masterpieces? It’s all too surreal.

So the kid programmer and I brainstormed Graphic Leftovers – a place for designers, illustrators and other creative souls to repackage their “rejects” and sell them on the web.

A great concept? We think so.
