Marketing is about revenue creation. Effective social media marketing includes elements of branding, community creation, PR, and continuous engagement with your audience; however, if these activities do not produce revenue, they can be a significant waste of your company’s time and resources. Fans, followers, and conversations are great, revenue is better.
