I am what you call a scrapbooking dropout. I tried traditional scrapbooking after my son was born in 2004 and gave up a few sleep-deprived weeks later. Time, mess and inconvenience were the reasons I gave, but I honestly didn’t like the way my pages looked, either. The few pages I made had the appearance of a (bad) 4th grade art project and I was embarrassed to admit how many supplies, expensive paper and doo-dads I had wasted.
