| Description: | IceRocket's search services focus mainly on blog search. They have a couple different blog tools including Link Tracker, Topics and Trends. The Link Tracker tool shows you how many people are linking to a post. IceRocket lets you use this feature on your blog so you can track who links to each of your posts. The Topics tool shows you popular tags people are using. If your blogging platform does not include post tagging, IceRocket shows you how to insert tags into your posts using simple generated HTML. The Trends tool allows you to enter up to three terms and see them trended over time. A great feature about this tool is that it shows you buzz stats. For instance, you can enter "Michael Arrington" and "Nick Denton" and the Trends tool will show you stats like posts per day and total posts. IceSpy is another great search feature. IceSpy shows you what IceRocket users are searching for in real-time. IceRocket doesn't censor the displayed searches which makes them all the more interesting. |
