Indie Mundo was founded by Theta Prime Systems in 2008 to provide a better way for artists to interact with their fans, and a better way to sell music. In traditional record sales, the record company may take nearly all of the profits from the music sales - on an average 99 cent song, the artist may only get a few pennies. Indie Mundo lets artists earn the same amount, or even a bit more, for each song you download, but pays for it with advertisements on the site. This way, the fans get free music without DRM protections, and artists end up making just as much per song as they would with traditional record sales!
