Don Thorson, VP Marketing

Don has played pivotal roles in the success of Silicon Valley's most notable companies and has contributed to the creation of multi-billion dollar global industries. Don was involved in early consumer electronics and digital entertainment (Atari), personal computers (Apple) and the birth of the internet (Netscape) and is a recognized expert in bringing new technologies to market and fostering their acceptance and global growth. Most recently, Don has focused his efforts on Voice 2.0, taking both Ribbit and Jajah from market introduction to subsequent acquisition in 2008 and 2009, respectively. Don is a member of the prestigious Milestone Consulting Group of Palo Alto and is currently training for his fifth triathlon and his third swim from Alcatraz.

Bill Daniher, VP Finance & Corporate Development

Bill Daniher has been involved in the technology sector since 1992 when he joined Technology Strategies and Alliances, a consulting firm located in Menlo Park, Calif. Bill currently serves as Vice President of Business Development at Krugle.com, an open source vertical search portal. Before joining Krugle, Bill served as VP of Operations and Business Development at Ziff Davis Media. Prior to his position at Ziff Davis Media, Mr. Daniher was Vice President of Operations for K2 Optronics. Previously, Mr. Daniher was Vice President, Operations and Finance for 1stUP.com, a CMGI Company, where he was responsible for the ISP network throughout North America. From 1995 to 1998, he held several roles for AMP Inc. including Chief Financial Officer for its Connectware Subsidiary and General Manager of the Passive Products Division. Mr. Daniher earned a MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.

Mike Rich, VP Sales

Mike is Head of Sales and brings over 17 years of enterprise software sales management experience to Datameer.

Prior to Datameer he was Vice President of Sales at B-Stock Solutions, an Ebay spinout delivering next generation private marketplace optimization and analytic solutions for manufacturers and large retailers. Earlier, he was Vice President of Sales at Krugle where he established their market leading position in source code search. Prior to Krugle he was the top producing Sales Director at Borland, managing sales of application lifecycle management and analytic solutions into the high-tech, healthcare and financial verticals in the Western region. Mike has also served as Sales Director at Togethersoft Corporation (acquired by Borland) and has held senior sales management positions at Kana, Rational Software, Pure Software and Apple Computer. Mike holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Dale Fuller

Krugle Adds Ex-McAfee, Borland CEO to Board
MENLO PARK, CA, November 28, 2007 -- Krugle, Inc., the code search company, today appointed Dale Fuller to its board of directors. Fuller was most recently the interim president and CEO of McAfee and is the former CEO of Borland.

While interim president and CEO at McAfee, Fuller led the company to a 52 week high in stock price and creation of approximately $1 billion in market capitalization.

Prior to his dual role at McAfee, Fuller led Borland as CEO, transforming the business into a profitable industry leader. Under Fuller's leadership, Borland achieved 18 consecutive quarters of profitability and growth. As a result, the company became the leader in Java development and management.

"Dale is a proven technology executive with extensive enterprise experience, and a deep understanding of the application development and application lifecycle management space" said Steve Larsen, co-founder and CEO, Krugle. "His knowledge and guidance will be an asset as our code search products penetrate deeper into the enterprise." Fuller also serves as a board member at Guidance Software (NASDAQ: GUID) and is Chairman of the Board at Phoenix Technologies (NASDAQ; PTEC).

Krugle also announced that Mike Rich, a former sales director for Borland, has joined the company as its new vice president of sales. Rich, a proven sales leader, brings more than 15 years of enterprise software sales and sales management experience to Krugle. Prior to Krugle, Rich managed sales of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions into the high-tech, healthcare and financial services markets at Rational, Borland and Togethersoft Corporation.

Corrine Wayshak

Corinne Wayshak is the founder of Engenewity and brings over 16 years of experience to managing, designing, implementing, and taking products to market. Her experience dates back 16 years when she held a variety of design and leadership positions at Apple Computer. Under her leadership as CEO, Corinne drove a startup to become a revenue generating company within 12 months of being founded. She has overseen multi-million dollar budgets for an impressive array of Fortune 500 clients where she routinely integrates the inherent values of the media and hi-tech industries. With more than 75 products within her portfolio, she is a recognized innovator and has co-authored eight filed patents in industrial design, technology, and mobile commerce. Corinne holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science and a B.S. degree in Media & Film, both from MIT. She has conducted interdisciplinary seminars on media and technology at both MIT and San Francisco State University and has presented at numerous conferences on the impact of design and marketing on business.

Dennis Moore

Dennis Moore is General Manager, Emerging Solutions, for SAP. His team creates solutions for untapped enterprise markets. Dennis' team has pioneered many industry firsts including composite applications for the enterprise (xApps), enterprise information worker productivity (Duet, formerly "Project Mendocino"), and ground-breaking patent-pending techniques for model-driven development, user productivity, grid processing, and business process management. Dennis serves as a member of SAP's Product Leadership Team and Senior Executive Team and reports directly to the Board of SAP AG. Joining SAP in 2001, Dennis had twenty years of experience in the enterprise software market, working with numerous startups as a founder, key executive, and consultant. Previously, Dennis spent nearly eight years in a number of senior management positions in product development and marketing at Oracle. Prior to joining Oracle, Dennis held a number of product development and management positions with Ingres Corp., Dendrite International, and Procter and Gamble. Dennis graduated from Princeton University, earning a BSE degree in Chemical Engineering. Dennis enjoys spending time with his family, and in his roles as founder and president of The OracAlumni Network, SDForum Board member, volunteer with Northern California Music and Art Culture Center.

Will Snow

Will Snow is Senior Director of .Sun Engineering for Sun Microsystems, leading the engineering team responsible for the development, deployment and infrastructure operations of Sun's high volume Web sites and online applications. This means he's had a lot of good ideas for Krugle in terms of architecting our system for the high volumes we expect. During more than 15 years at Sun, he's held numerous engineering and management positions including lead developer on SunSolve and was the engineering manager for Sun's developer sites where he lead the team responsible for surpassing 1,000,000 registered members. Prior to Sun, Will held engineering positions with Xerox Artificial Intelligence Systems and Electronic Arts. He holds a BS in Computer Science from USC and an MBA from National University and also holds four patents in search technology.

Brian Jacobs

Brian Jacobs is a Founder and General Partner of Emergence Capital Partners. Emergence is a leading venture capital firm focused on early and growth-stage Technology-Enabled Services investing.

With over 18 years of venture capital experience, Brian has a deep national network and broad experience helping both consumer and business-oriented startups achieve their business goals. Prior to founding Emergence, Brian was an early General Partner at St. Paul Venture Capital. During his 10 years with St. Paul, Brian helped to grow the firm to one of the 15 largest venture investors in the country. He led the firm's Silicon Valley investing activities. His prior venture capital experience was at Security Pacific Venture Capital. Brian also worked for the Raychem Corporation, where he developed and marketed advanced software and electronic components. He also has engineering and new product development experience with RCA, Westinghouse, and Polaroid, and he holds several patents.

Brian was named to the Forbes' Midas List of the top venture capital investors in 2006 and 2007. He is an experienced board member who has served on dozens of public and private boards. He currently serves on the boards of Visage Mobile, Krugle, Intacct, InsideView, DVDPlay and Bill.com.

Brian's reputation for helping entrepreneurs build innovative technology-enabled service companies comes from his active involvement in Lexar Media (LEXR), WebTV (sold to Microsoft), HireRight, nQuire Software (sold to Siebel Systems), Microchip Technologies (MCHP), BigFix, NetPerceptions (NETP), NextCard (NXCD) and many others.

Brian has a MS and BS in mechanical engineering from M.I.T. and an MBA from Stanford. He is happily married with two children. He enjoys international travel and scuba diving.

Michael Pliner

Dr. Pliner has over 30 years experience in computer software and systems technology, general management, and business development. Dr. Pliner has founded, financed, and built three successful high technology businesses. Dr. Pliner co-founded Verity Inc., serving as Chairman, President, and CEO. He also co-founded Sytek Inc serving as its Chairman and CEO. Currently Dr. Pliner is a consulting entrepreneur serving on the Boards or advisory Boards of several high technology companies. His primary interests are in networking, search, security, and enterprise software technologies.

Terence Parr

Terence Parr is a professor of computer science at the University of San Francisco where he continues to work on his ANTLR parser generator, http://www.antlr.org. Terence recently returned from years in industry where he co-founded jGuru.com. He herded programmers and implemented the large jGuru developers web site, during which time he developed and refined the StringTemplate engine. Terence has consulted for and held various technical positions at companies such as IBM, Lockheed Missiles and Space, NeXT, and Renault Automation. Terence holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Purdue University and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Army High-Performance Computing Research Center at the University of Minnesota where he built parallelizing FORTRAN source-to-source translators.

Prem Devanbu

Prem Devanbu is a professor of computer science at the University of California at Davis where his primary research area is software engineering. More specifically, he is interested in software tools, software reuse (both domain-specific languages and component-based reuse), and secure software engineering. During his career he has held various positions in industrial software development and research with companies including: Perkin-Elmer, Bell Lab, and AT&T Labs. He has been at UC Davis since late 1997. His undergraduate education was at IIT, Madras in India and he holds a Ph.D. from Rutgers University where his doctoral work was done under Professor Borgida.

Andrew Aitkin

Andrew Aitken is the Founder and Managing Partner of Olliance Group. Andrew has over 18 years senior management experience building and leading national professional services companies. Prior to founding Olliance, Andrew held positions as VP of Business Development, Corporate Strategy, and Marketing, with various national technology services providers, including Renaissance Worldwide and eWork. In 2001 Andrew founded Olliance Group with other industry veterans, to provide management and business strategy consulting to companies leveraging open source. Andrew is a frequent speaker on the topic of open source. He has chaired and spoken internationally at multiple industry and government conferences, is a member of the Open Source Software Institute's Board of Directors, SDForum's Board of Advisors and Chair of their annual Open Source Conference, is on the Board of Advisors of SugarCRM, and has personally worked with companies such as: IBM, Sun, Intel, Nokia, HP, and others, assisting them with developing their open source strategies.

Eric Enge

Eric Enge has been working in the high-tech industry for more than 25 years. For the past several years he's worked in web site publishing and search engine optimization as President of Optimized Internet Corp and before that doing business development consulting where he was involved in the IPO of Xoom.com and the sale of eFax.com. Eric grew Bestprices.com's revenue from $0 to $3M+ per year using search engine optimization. Krugle came across Eric when he worked for Ziff Davi's computer and video games site, growing their search engine traffic by more than 500%.

Mark Menell

Mark has been a partner at Rustic Canyon since the firm's inception in 1999. His primary areas of investment focus have been consumer internet, digital media, information services and communications. Mark contributes 20 years of strategic, financial advisory and investment experience. Formerly an investment banker, Mark was most recently co-head of Morgan Stanley's Technology M&A Group, based in Menlo Park. While there, he was responsible for advising on more than 50 completed transactions valued in excess of $150 billion. Before Mark's tenure at Morgan Stanley, he was an investment banker at Salomon Brothers. Mark graduated magna cum laude with a BA in economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He also earned a BS in finance magna cum laude and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
