Like many business people, my email inbox is my to-do list, each messaging a task requested or implied. Flags and folders are a not much of an organizing principle, and frankly the fastest way to get a chore out of my inbox is to forward it to someone else. It’s not much of a system, but it’s all I’ve got. Until now. Liaise works like I do, inside email, but it better organizes the tasks I need to tackle and much more efficiently tracks the ones I’ve assigned to someone else. Most importantly, Liaise doesn’t ask me to change my work habits in order to get the benefit of better organization. It doesn’t demand that I recruit my team to work with the tool. It doesn’t lose a thread if I jump between email and chat. What it does do is bring control and visibility to the tasks that drive my days.
