The initial Life360 concept was conceived in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina—so many families were thrown into a state of chaos because as a whole everyone was completely unprepared. People stayed uninformed, didn’t have the proper supplies, and had no way of knowing where there loved ones were and whether or not they were safe. The Life360 founding team realized that technology could have been used to make people both better able to prepare for and overcome disasters, and thus the company was born.
