Elizabeth Geisinger founded MyHometownLink.com in 2009 during her senior year at Bucknell University. The idea behind MyHometownLink emerged from a tennis camp Elizabeth started in her hometown of Wellesley MA. Elizabeth came to the realization during this tennis camp that students and parents have no easy way to connect with one another. In her senior year of college, Elizabeth set out to build MyHometownLink.com – a social network that could solve this problem for communities across the country.

In short, MyHometownLink.com illuminates community connections, so that students can find jobs (i.e. babysitting, tutoring, yardworking), and parents can find help – with neighborhood students that they actually know and trust.
