When I met Gerald and Frank for the first time they told me what they wanted to do for diabetes. And I told them what they were up against, not in very nice words. It’s tricky to solve stuff in the health space. It takes time and a crazy amount of money if you want to do it right. I had already been in this space, leading a diabetes software project at the uni for two years.

But we continued talking and realized that what we had was a positive way to change the existing therapy. Powerful stuff. We realized we weren’t attacking the problems in the normal, clinical, medical way. But rather with us at the centre, seen with the eyes of diabetics.

So we got the money and we put the hours in. And here we are. A few months away from launching the first version of mySugr.
