Growing from early research at academic and healthcare institutions in Australia, Pacific Knowledge Systems is focussed on providing Health Informatics technologies to address the worldwide clinical testing market.

We develop and market Laboratory intelligent Decision Support tools that help labs leverage their staff’s clinical knowledge, so that intelligent personalised comments can be added to clinical reports automatically.

Laboratory intelligent Decision Support (LiDS) is a field of software development that helps labs provide comments on the patient rather than just reporting the result. It does this by combining laboratory test data with patient information, then applying knowledge it has learnt from your clinical staff to turn data into meaningful information.

LiDS uses a form of artificial intelligence to learn the reasons and context that a comment was applied, so that in future it can apply the same comment in a similar context.
