A key feature of Customer Profiler’s capability is its data requirement. We have optimised its processing so that it works with only commonly available customer data. For example, in the mortgage market, Customer Profiler has the capability to predict any individual’s likelihood to churn and motivation to churn from a very small amount of information such as age, income, property value, mortgage balance and post code. Customer Profiler’s processing involves three stages. Firstly, the necessary input information is extracted from the customer database and transformed. In the second stage, a matching process compares each set of customer records with a library of “generic” UK consumers. Finally, a detailed profile is prepared for each customer based on rich amount of information known about the “generic” customers, and this information is installed back in the customer database.
