Darren Crystal, CTO

Michael Clark, VP Technology

Michael is one of only a handful of people in the world who has scaled a web service to over 100 million users. He has built infrastructure to support some of the biggest sites on the web including Photobucket and TinyPic. Prior to SafetyWeb, Michael was the first executive hire and architect at Photobucket and the platforms he scaled now accommodate > 100 million registered users with 8 billion images. He built the development, operations, and customer support teams to keep up with the growth and helped lead Photobucket to a $300 million exit to NewsCorporation. Michael has also served as a senior solution engineer at NetApp, led the development of a solid state storage product for TiGi, built a telecom engineering organization at TouchAmerica, and helped build Citrix’s consulting services organization. He has over 15 years of direct experience building scalable systems.

Michael holds a Bachelors of Arts in Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Communication from the University of Denver.

Peter Foster, VP Sales

Foster is an industry veteran having led several of the most successful online sales teams from start-up to maturity and built revenue from immaterial to hundreds of millions. Most notably, he grew sales at Fastclick to $100 million and once acquired by ValueClick, helped grow revenue to over $200 Million. Soon after, as Senior Vice President of Sales at Photobucket - a division of Fox Interactive, Peter built the business to $45 Million in less than two years. Peter also spent six years at MaxOnline (later acquired by Ask.com), where he was Vice President of West Coast Sales and the company's top salesperson from 2000 to 2002. Most recently Peter architected the new sales model for Hi5, doubling page yield. Foster graduated with honors from Kenyon College.

Brent Stewart, VP Advertising Sales

Brent Stewart (brent@voyij.com), is Co-Founder, President and the "biz dev guy" at Voyij. Brent co-founded SideStep, Inc. and most recently served as the VP of Advertising Sales where he was responsible for implementing the overall advertising and sales strategy, building the advertising sales and operations teams that ultimately accounted for over 50% of SideStep's total revenue. Brent also played a major role in SideStep's product management, business development and partner strategy.

Before co-founding SideStep, Brent was the Director of Business Development at PointCast where he oversaw the implementation and management of industry content into the PointCast system. Earlier, Brent opened and managed the West Coast office for Science and Technology Management, Inc - a technology management firm where he was responsible for acquiring and developing new business in the electric power sector.
