Photrade was founded in late 2006 by CEO Andrew Paradies. Andrew was an amateur photographer who wanted one photo site where he could share and sell his photos, without worrying about misuse. So he created Photrade. The first version of the Photrade Alpha site was launched in November of 2007. The site was built with no investment with a small team working out of a proverbial garage. In January of 2008 Photrade.com received funding and got straight to work building the first Beta version of the site. The Beta version launched in invitation only in June of 2008 and the public launch is planned for later in the year.«Less
