Rosemont Group is a holding company founded in 2003 by Frederick Achom. The offshore based group has a varied portfolio of business interests within the consumer goods and services industry. In 2012, as part of a broader investment strategy, Rosemont re-aligned its core investment focus to opportunities in early and growth stage Tech, Biotech and CleanTech companies in India and other developing markets. Rosemont Group most recently acquired a major shareholding in Communication Power Engineering Company Group, one of India’s oldest listed companies. CPEC has several energy companies within its portfolio of companies but continues to specialise in building, owning, and operating utility-scale solar power plants in India and other emerging markets.
