Scottsdale Capital Advisors was founded by the husband and wife team of John and Justine Hurry. John Hurry serves as President and Principal, and Justine Hurry holds the position of CFO and Principal.
From a young age, John Hurry had been intrigued by and attracted to the idea of wealth management, and he quickly realized that success was predicated on sound business principles and solid financial planning. After graduating from college with an undergraduate degree in finance, John Hurry began his corporate career managing operations for United Parcel Service. He went on to complete his MBA in management and worked in management consulting as a controller and financial analyst before he realized that his skills were ideally suited to working as a financial advisor. For almost a decade before forming Scottsdale Capital Advisors, he achieved success at prominent firms such as Prudential Securities, Merit Capital, Edward Jones, Waddell & Reed, and Equity Services.
