Silicon Clocks is developing a family of timing products that offer distinct advantages. By combining existing technologies (e.g., quartz crystals, frequency synthesizers) with innovative new technologies (e.g., integrated MEMS on CMOS and hybrid PLLs), Silicon Clocks is able to deliver the right approach to meet the widest range of customers’ timing needs – as well as break ground in new product categories that will employ multiple resonators in a single component for the first time. Silicon Clocks precision clock synthesizers provide low-jitter references for high-speed serial data applications, with the flexibility to support interfaces such as Fibre Channel, 1/10 Gigabit Ethernet, SAS/SATA, SONET, XAUI, InfiniBand, RapidIO and PCI Express. These products offer a low-cost alternative to expensive surface acoustic wave (SAW) oscillators and third overtone solutions, while also offering improved flexibility, reliability and space savings.
