The Starfish team is comprised of former Blackboard Inc. veterans looking to deliver innovative technology to enhance student success programs and dramatically improve education outcomes. Our core beliefs infuse everything we do from the design of our software, to the recommendations we give to our clients to the way we manage our company.

With our roots in enterprise software, our ultimate goal is to empower a human network of providers and students collaborating on student success. Through the deployment of its software, Starfish enables institutions to create an online student success environment. This environment will facilitate the delivery of programs such as academic advising, instructor office hours, tutoring, mentoring, and others – with the aim of improving retention and graduation rates. In addition, the Starfish system provides valuable analytics that enable institutions to refine their programs for continual improvement.
