Threadbox is a simple and pragmatic collaboration platform that helps workgroups effortlessly increase productivity by harnessing the group’s conversations, files, tasks, dates, and opinions.
Threadbox began in November 2008 when founders Michael Cerda and Ben Dean recognized an opportunity to make collaboration as easy as email and instant messaging, yet as comprehensive as a traditional collaboration service. The end result would improve productivity for small workgroup communication and collaboration.
Threadbox initially launched as Cc:Betty at DEMO Spring 2009, and from there grew, nurtured and iterated the platform with a beta customer base throughout 2009. A year later, in Spring 2010, the result of many months of customer and product development yielded Threadbox, the easiest collaboration service ever.
