Fred Greguras

Fred M. Greguras is of counsel to the law firm of Fenwick & West LLP. Mr. Greguras focuses on strategic legal issues for Internet, software and semiconductor-related companies. His practice includes start-up issues, intellectual property protection, financings, alliance formation, and technology licensing in both domestic and international transactions. He has represented a wide range of companies in financing and commercial transactions, from privately held start-ups to publicly traded companies. Clients he has represented include Excite, Inc., Exodus Communications, Inc. , Kintana, Inc. and Speedera Networks, Inc. Mr. Greguras holds a B.A. in mathematics from University of Omaha, an M.S. in mathematics and a J.D. from University of Nebraska.

Donald Hutchison

Don is a successful early stage investor and business advisor. Don was a defining principal who grew @Home (later Excite@Home) from concept to broadband industry leader, serving as Senior Vice President & formative General Manager for the business focused @Work division. He built @Work into a leading provider of internetworking services, with over 5,000 new business accounts. While at E@H, Don formed and later served as Chairman and CEO of Work.com, a JV between Dow Jones and Excite@Home and established Work.com as a leading provider of detailed business information and services. Prior to @Home, as SVP for Sales and Marketing, Don drove Netcom Communications rise to prominence as a pioneering Internet service provider for consumers & businesses. Other recognition included the American Marketing Association's "Marketing Achievement" award for Best New Product Launch and multiple "World Class" awards from PC World. His earlier career included distinguished sales and management roles with Pixar, Prime Computer & Data General.

Bonnie Crater

Bonnie Crater is Vice President and General Manager for Salesforce.com's Supportforce Business Unit, driving the company's newest on-demand application business for customer service and support operations. Prior to her current role, Bonnie served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Alcatel subsidiary Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc. where she guided and executed Genesys's marketing strategies, and as Senior Vice President of Genesys's Enterprise Solutions Group which developed new integrated telephony and instant messaging products. At Netscape Communications, Ms. Crater held the position of vice president, Solutions Marketing, Enterprise Division. A ten-year veteran of Oracle Corporation and its various subsidiaries, Ms. Crater was vice president, Compaq Products Division and vice president, Workgroup Products Division. More recently, Ms. Crater was chief marketing officer at Stratify, an unstructured data management startup, and president and CEO of Zelerate, a provider of open source e-commerce solutions. In 2000, Crater was named one of the Top 20 Female Executives in Silicon Valley by San Jose Magazine. Ms. Crater holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Princeton University.

Paul Matteucci

Paul Matteucci is a partner at USVP. Prior to USVP, Paul was CEO of HearMe, taking that company public in 1998. His two decades of operations experience include eight years with Adaptec, where he was vice president and general manager of the SCSI host adapter division. Paul served as a resident entrepreneur for Institutional Venture Partners in 1995 and was an advisor to Accel Partners, Redpoint Ventures and Sutter Hill Ventures in the 1990s. Paul received an MBA from Stanford University, an MA in international studies from Johns Hopkins University and a BA from the University of the Pacific. He is currently on the boards of Intransa, LimeLife, Piczo, PodTech, TotalBeauty, Trovix, W5 and Winster, and is a board observer on LV Sensors. Paul also serves as a trustee of the Worlds Affairs Council and is a board member of the University of the Pacific School of International Studies. He is a frequent lecturer at Montana State University.

Pattie Maes

Pattie Maes is an associate professor in MIT's Program in Media Arts and Sciences. She founded and directs the Media Lab's Interactive Experience research group. Previously, she founded and ran the Software Agents group. Prior to joining the Media Lab, Maes was a visiting professor and a research scientist at the MIT Artificial Intelligence Lab. Her areas of expertise are human-computer interaction, artifical life, artificial intelligence, collective intelligence, and intelligence augmentation. Ms. Maes is the editor of three books, and is an editorial board member and reviewer for numerous professional journals and conferences. She has received several awards: Newsweek magazine named her one of the "100 Americans to watch for" in the year 2000; TIME Digital selected her as a member of the Cyber-Elite, the top 50 technological pioneers of the high-tech world; the World Economic Forum honored her with the title "Global Leader for Tomorrow"; Ars Electronica awarded her the 1995 World Wide Web category prize; and in 2000 she was recognized with the "Lifetime Achievement Award" by the Massachusetts Interactive Media Council. Ms. Maes holds Bachelor's and PhD degrees in computer science from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium.
