Roman Bukary, VP, Marketing & Business Development

Roman Bukary joins Truviso from SAP, where he served most recently as vice president in the Global Partner Ecosystem Group, responsible for numerous SAP strategic technology partnerships. Previously at SAP, he launched the company's analytic application business after holding positions in composite applications and business intelligence solution marketing. Earlier in his career, Roman was a co-founding executive and vice president of product marketing at Rearden Commerce, a service-oriented architecture personal services procurement firm. At Rearden, he was responsible for the company's marketing, corporate strategy, and strategic alliances. Prior to Rearden, he was part of Informatica Corporation’s management team, which took the company public. Roman also has broad experience in building and leading product and industry marketing groups, corporate strategy, and product management with companies including Baan and Parametric Technology Corporation. He started his career as an aeronautical design engineer at Pratt & Whitney, UTC, and holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in mechanical engineering, as well as a B.S. in psychology, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.

Terry Opdendyk

Terry Opdendyk has specialized in working with technology based start-ups for more than 30 years. He founded ONSET Ventures, a premier Silicon Valley venture capital firm, in 1984, and is Managing Director and General Partner. Prior to launching the firm, Terry was president of VisiCorp, guiding the software publishing company from inception into an industry leader. Early in his career, Terry worked as a technical manager for Hewlett-Packard as part of the original group of individuals that started HP's computer business. He later headed Intel Corporation's microcomputer systems business, microprocessor architecture activities, several international ventures and human resources.

At ONSET Ventures, Terry maintains a broad spectrum of investment interests including software, communications and new drug delivery technologies. He serves on the boards of both public and private companies, such as Adaptive Planning, Truviso, Arcot, APX, Blue Vector, Callidus, Nextance and Sigma Dynamics. He is also a Fellow at the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Haas School of Business, University of California. Terry received a B.S. from the Michigan State University Honors College and a M.S. from Stanford University.

David Lane

For the past 25 years David Lane has created, built and financed information technology companies. During the past 20 years he has managed investment funds totaling in excess of $2 billion. In June 2000, David co-founded Diamondhead Ventures, which manages $140 million in its first fund. David is or has been actively involved in the following Diamondhead portfolio companies: Cranite Systems, Entercept Security Technologies (sold to McAfee), Availigent, Habeas and UPEK. Previously, David was a partner with Alpine Technology Ventures, a $72 million information technology-focused venture fund. Prior to joining Alpine, David spent seven years as one of the senior venture capital investment officers at the Harvard Management Company, which manages Harvard University's $28 billion endowment.

David has a passion for working with entrepreneurs spinning out of leading research universities. He is on the University of Southern California Engineering School's Board of Counselors, and was Chairman of USC's Commercialization/Technology Transfer Committee for the School of Engineering. He has guest lectured on entrepreneurship at many leading universities including UC-Berkeley, Stanford, Northwestern, UCLA, Cal Poly and USC. David earned his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and his B.S.E.E. from the University of Southern California.
