The company’s focus is on process technologies of 0.18-micron and below, as well as application-specific technologies such as low power processes. Customers include fabless semiconductor companies, semiconductor foundries, ASIC manufacturers, IDMs, and systems-on-chip developers who demand the highest quality, maximum performance, and optimum densities for their semiconductor innovations.

Virtual Silicon was acquired by Mosaid in October 2005.
