Bijan Marashi, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Bijan Marashi is Xoopit's Co-Founder & CEO, overseeing product strategy, marketing, and sales. Prior to Xoopit, Bijan consulted the executive teams at European portals including Telecom Italia & Gruppo Espresso on product strategy. Bijan was discovered at Inktomi, where he was the lead product manager for the Search & Directory Engine products behind services such as Yahoo, AOL, and Microsoft which served over half of the world's search queries at the time. Earlier in his career, Bijan was the PM of ground breaking Internet-In-A-Box product from SPRY and was on the Windows Networking Team at Microsoft.

Jonathan Katzman, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer

Jonathan Katzman is Xoopit's Co-Founder & COO, overseeing development, operations and finance. Prior to Xoopit, Jonathan was the General Manager for Tellme Networks' Directory Assistance business. Jonathan led this business from its inception, turning it into a $50M business and spawning Tellme's mobile search products. Earlier in his career, Jonathan served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Ignition Corp and was an engineering lead on the original Microsoft FrontPage team.

Charles Moldow

Charles joined Foundation Capital in 2005, with a background in general management, sales, marketing, product management, and business development. Before coming to Foundation Capital, he was part of two teams that successfully built companies from early start-up through greater than $100 million in sales and exits near or above a billion dollars. Charles has made seven investments since joining Foundation, of which three have been acquired: Powerset to Microsoft; Xoopit to Yahoo!; and, Weblistic to Spot Runner. Charles works closely with his current portfolio, which includes: Canopy Financial, National Payment Network, Pixazza, SunRun, Project Fair Bid, AdWhirl, and Therative.

Theresia Gouw Ranzetta

Theresia has been with Accel Partners since 1999. She focuses primarily on software and internet investments with specific interest in security, Vertical Media/Search and online media and advertising. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of ForeScout, Glam Media, Interlace Systems, Imperva, Jasper Design Automation, Kosmix, Trulia and Wetpaint. She is also responsible for Accel's investments in CRS Retail Systems (EPIC), LetsTalk, PeopleSupport (PSPT), Webroot and Zimbra; and was part of the team responsible for investing in Walmart.com (WMT).

Theresia has worked in the computer and communications industries since the late-1980's as an entrepreneur, consultant and venture investor. Prior to joining Accel Partners, she was founding Vice President of Business Development & Sales at Release Software, a venture-backed company which developed products to enable digital rights management and payment technologies for the software industry. Theresia was a key member of the senior management team and was instrumental in growing the company from $0 to $15M in revenue in two years. Before that, Theresia worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company and a product manager at Silicon Graphics.

Theresia holds an Sc.B. in Engineering from Brown University, magna cum laude and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.

Paul Gauthier

At Ludic Labs, Paul is designing and developing a new class of mass-scale, consumer Internet applications. Previously, Paul was a co-founder and CTO of Inktomi Corporation, a pioneering internet technology company. Paul invented and developed Inktomi's search engine, the first commercial search engine based on distributed-memory parallel computation, allowing it to scale with the rapid growth of the Internet. Paul's work lives on as Yahoo! Search, the world's #2 search engine.

Paul is a celebrated entrepreneur and expert in consumer internet products and businesses. He is an advisor or director to several internet startups. Paul has an MS in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
