Eric Spiegel, CEO & Co-Founder
Eric is a veteran of the IT industry with significant senior management experience with multiple enterprise software companies. As Vice President of Services for Sequoia Software, his team played a key role as the company evolved from early stage, through IPO and the eventual acquisition by Citrix Systems. Before entering the start-up arena, Eric spent 10 years in consulting where he specialized in delivering large scale implementations to government agencies and Fortune 1000 clients. He holds a Masters in Information Systems Management from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelors of Information Science from the Univesity of Pittsburgh. Eric is also a graduate of the Mindshare CEO Program and writes the Smart IT column for Datamation online.
Pallav Thakkar, Executive VP of Engineering & Co-Founder
Pallav leads the engineering team and is an experienced enterprise architect with an emphasis on modeling, data mining and business intelligence. After spending the early part of his career on teams that managed nuclear plant shutdowns, he soon gravitated towards his true interest of software architecture. He joined Sequoia Software and quickly ascended to be the lead technical architect on OEM projects including integration of Sequoia’s portal technology with SeeBeyond’s e*Gate Integrator, Software AG’s Tamino’s XML Repository and Semio’s Taxonomy. After Sequoia was acquired by Citrix, Pallav delivered large scale Citrix solutions for Fortune 1000 customers. Pallav holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland.
Mark Jones, Senior VP Sales and Business Development
Mark has over twenty years of driving new channel growth to profitability for multiple startups. He joined Citrix in 1993 and over the next ten years was instrumental in building their channel to one of the most successful and recognized reseller networks in the world. Prior to joining XTS, he worked with a consulting firm that provided operational executives to fix, expand and turn-around sales, channel and new market development on an outsourced basis. Mark is based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Charlie Clements, VP of Sales
Since the early 80's, Charlie Clements has worked at every level of the industry, from management of early Apple and IBM PC resellers, to sales at Novell's first distributor, his own networking VAR company in Southern California, to leadership roles in leading channel driven software companies Cheyenne Software, Conner Storage Systems Group and Citrix Systems. After leaving Citrix where he was Vice President of the Americas, Charlie worked as a consultant to many fledgling software companies striving to build winning sales teams and channel strategies.
Chris Childers, VP Marketing &Product Management
Chris Childers has 14 years of product management experience in growth stage software companies. Childers co-founded and managed the product development for Artifact Software. He was instrumental in building the first generation product, acquiring early adopter customers and securing funding. Prior to Artifact, he was the Director of Product Management for Sequoia Software's portal software solution, XPS. He was responsible for the product direction, technical partnerships and customer education. He played a strategic technical advisory role during the sale of Sequoia Software to Citrix Systems. Chris holds a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Vermont and is a certified project management professional.
