Yield Software Strengthens Executive Team

Company Names Technology Industry Veteran, Jon Siegal, as Vice President of Sales

San Francisco, CA – Oct 16, 2007 – Yield Software, a company leveraging Internet marketing technologies and automation techniques to help businesses attract and convert the most valuable Internet traffic, announced today the appointment of Jon Siegal to the role of Vice President of Sales.

Mr. Siegal brings more than 18 years of general management and sales experience with world-class companies. Prior to joining Yield Software, he spent 5 years as a Vice President of Sales at Siebel Systems where he was consistently recognized as one of the top contributors to the company’s success, helping to grow the company from $40 million to $2 billion in annual revenue. While at Siebel, he built customer relationships with industry leaders such as Microsoft, Cisco, Intel, HP, Agilent, Motorola, Boeing, 3COM, Intuit, and Gateway. In addition, he was recognized as the most valuable player of the sales organization, manager of the year, and was a member of the Siebel Founder’s Circle. (Siebel Systems was acquired by Oracle Corporation in 2006.)

Mr. Siegal began his career at IBM Corporation where he was responsible for sales to the media, advertising and entertainment industries. While at IBM, he helped introduce IBM’s first digital media solutions to leading entertainment companies. He has also served as Executive Vice President of Sales, Global Distribution and Alliances for a San Francisco-based start-up company where his efforts led to business relationships with major retailers and partnerships with companies such as Verifone, HP, NCR and IBM. Mr. Siegal earned his MBA from the John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.
