Betsy Bernard

Andy Bechtolsheim

Andy Bechtolsheim, co-founder of Sun Microsystems, Inc. and employee number one, returns to Sun as Chief Architect and Senior Vice President, Network Systems organization and is also a member of Sun's executive management team. In his new role, Bechtolsheim will drive the rapid productization of next generation network server technologies.

Bechtolsheim brings with him over 25 years of Network Computing knowledge and expertise. He was a co-founder of Sun Microsystems where he held a variety of roles including Vice President of Technology and Chief Architect of Sun's highly successful workstation product line. He invented the "Stanford University Network workstation" that eventually became the Sun-1 Workstation and was instrumental in launching other successful Sun products, including the SparcStation¨ 1.

Bechtolsheim left Sun in 1995 to found Granite Systems, a Gigabit Ethernet start-up company, that was acquired by Cisco Systems in 1996. Andy became Vice President of Engineering and later Vice President General Manager of Cisco's Gigabit Systems business which developed the Catalyst 4000 family, the industry's highest volume modular Ethernet switching platform.

Bechtolsheim returns to Sun via the Kealia, Inc. acquisition, a company which he co-founded to develop advanced server technology.

Bechtolsheim received a MS in computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 1976 and he was a PhD student in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at Stanford University from 1977 to 1982. He has been honored with a Fulbright scholarship, a German National Merit Foundation scholarship, the Stanford Entrepreneur Company of the year award, the Smithsonian Leadership Award for Innovation and is a member of the National Academy of Engineering.

Allan Leinwand

Allan is a Venture Partner at Panorama Capital (previously JPMorgan Partners). He focuses on technology investments and joined JPMorgan Partners in 2004 as an Operating Partner. From 2001 to 2004, he was President and Co-founder of Proficient Networks, Inc. From 2000 to 2001, he was Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering at Telegis Networks, Inc. In 1997, Allan joined Digital Island, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISLD) at inception and served as their Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer through the company's IPO and secondary offering. From 1990 to 1997, Allan served as Manager of Consulting Engineering and Senior Software Engineer at Cisco Systems, Inc. helping to build and engineer service provider and enterprise networks worldwide. He co-authored "Cisco Router Configuration" and "Network Management: A Practical Perspective" and has been granted a patent in the field of data routing. He currently is an Adjunct Professor at the University of California, Berkeley where he teaches the subjects of computer networks, network management, and network design.

Allan holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Stephen Richards

Stephen Richards brings a wealth of finance and operational experience to ZANTAZ as the current Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of McAfee, Inc. Under Richards' financial leadership, McAfee was named one of The Wall Street Journal's highest growth companies of 2001. Mr. Richards recently announced his plan to retire from McAfee at the end of 2004 in order to spend more time with his family and pursue other personal interests. Prior to joining McAfee, Richards served in a variety of executive roles at E*TRADE Group, Inc. including CFO and Chief Online Trading Officer. Richards also held the position of Managing Director and CFO of correspondent clearing at Bear Stearns & Companies, Inc. Currently, Richards is a member of the Board of Directors at Tradestation Group, Inc., Cray Inc. and the Pacific Stock Exchange.

Tom Bevilacqua

Tom Bevilacqua co-founded ArrowPath in 1997 and is a Managing Partner of the firm. He brings over 20 years of Silicon Valley experience as an executive, general manager, investor and advisor to technology driven companies. In addition to Innotas, Bevilacqua currently serves on the boards of Active Reasoning, Innoprise, MetaLincs, Remend and RouteLogics. Prior investments and Board seats include Digital Island (acquired by Cable & Wireless); Critical Path (CPTH); NetSec (acquired by MCI); Immunix (acquired by Novell); Sanera (acquired by McData); Persist (acquired by Hewlett-Packard); and Knight Trading Group (NITE).

Prior to ArrowPath, Bevilacqua served as an Executive Vice President of E*TRADE Financial where he held a number of operational roles and was instrumental in establishing E*TRADE's successful acquisition and investment strategies. Bevilacqua was previously a partner at two of Silicon Valley's leading law firms, where he served as an advisor in over 250 public and private financings.

Bevilacqua received his B.S. in Business Administration and J.D. from the University of California.

John Dorman

Mr. Dorman is retired as chairman, president and CEO of Digital Insight Corporation. Prior to joining Digital Insight, Mr. Dorman was senior vice president of the Oracle Corporation's Global Financial Services division where he was responsible for product development, services, and sales to banks and brokerage firms worldwide, generating $400 million in revenues. Previously, Mr. Dorman founded and served as chairman and CEO of Treasury Services Corporation, which was acquired by Oracle in 1997. Before founding Treasury Services Corporation in 1983, Mr. Dorman spent 11 years at Union Bank of California, where he progressed rapidly through a number of management positions, becoming treasurer of the bank from 1979 to 1983. Mr. Dorman earned a BA degree in business administration and philosophy from Occidental College and an MBA degree in finance from the University of Southern California. Mr. Dorman currently serves on the Board of Directors of Digital Insight Corporation, The Yosemite Fund, and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Engineering Management of the University of California at Santa Barbara. He was named Entrepreneur of the Year in the Greater Los Angeles Area by Ernst & Young in 2003 and was also named to the National Entrepreneur of the Year Hall of Fame.

Peter Currie

Tony Ridder and Peter Currie Elected to Sun Microsystems' Board of Directors
Santa Clara, Calif. November 6, 2006 Sun Microsystems, Inc. (NASDAQ: SUNW) today announced that Tony Ridder and Peter Currie have been elected to the company's board of directors. Ridder, a chief executive in the newspaper and internet publishing industry for over 40 years, will join Sun's Leadership Development and Compensation Committee and Currie, a 28-year corporate finance veteran, will join Sun's Audit Committee.

"As Sun continues to define the future of network computing, we have added two industry thought leaders to our board. Tony Ridder and Peter Currie each bring a unique perspective in publishing, internet economics, corporate governance and finance to Sun's corporate board. Ridder is the former chairman and chief executive officer of Knight Ridder. He was named chairman and CEO of Knight Ridder in 1995, served as company president beginning in 1989 and joined the corporate staff as president of the Newspaper Division in 1986. Ridder began his career with Knight Ridder when he joined the American News in Aberdeen, S.D., in 1962. Ridder serves on the advisory board of the Center for Economic Policy Research at Stanford University, is a trustee of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and is a past chairman of the Newspaper Association of America.

Ridder also currently serves on the Board of Directors of The McClatchy Company, the second-largest newspaper company in the United States. Ridder holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Michigan.

Currie is president of Currie Capital LLC. In addition to becoming a member of Sun's board of directors, Currie also serves on the boards of CNET and Safeco and sits on the audit committees of both companies. Currie was formerly executive vice president and chief financial officer of both Netscape and McCaw Cellular. Currie holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Williams College and a master's degree in business administration from Stanford University.

Dan Tompkins

Dan Tompkins is a Managing General Partner at Novus Ventures in Cupertino, California. Mr. Tompkins has been a senior partner/senior officer with two other venture funds, DSC Ventures and Wells Fargo Investment Company. Perry Ha

Perry Ha is managing director of Athena Technology Ventures. In 1997, Mr. Ha co-founded Athena Technology Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm, where he began applying a hands-on approach in investing and helping companies. Mr. Ha has invested in many companies such as Ipivot (Intel), CDS (Maxtor), and Imparto Software (PKS) and has served on the Board of Directors of several companies, including Colo.com, FirstIP, Impli, ProfitLogic, Sentica, and ZANTAZ. He also serves on the Advisory Board of Seoul Software Incubator (SVI) and the Korean American Society of Entrepreneurs (KASE). Mr. Ha is holds two technology patents. He has BS and MS degrees from M.I.T. and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Roland Van der Meer

A ComVentures cofounder, Roland Van der Meer invests in technologies and early stage communications companies with the potential to redefine business and economic models, as well as the way in which whole segments of the communications industry operate. Listed 18th on the Forbes Midas List of top 100 technology dealmakers, he focuses his investments on systems, components and services.

Roland's recent investments and board seats include Ambric, Cloudshield, Fabrik, FilmLoop, FyreStorm, OpSource, PacketHop, Quantia and Sensys.

Roland was one of the first to spot the digital transmission revolution and funded PairGain. He followed this up by being the only venture investor in Broadcom (Nasdaq: BRCM), the broadband communications semiconductor company that led the frontier of digital signal processing. Roland was also the initial investor in Arbinet (Nasdaq: ARBX), which created and operates the world's largest market exchange for telecommunications carriers, and Zantaz, the leader in email/file archiving and retrieval.

A number of Roland's pioneering companies have been acquired by major communications industry players, including: Chromatis Networks (acquired by Lucent), Confertech (acquired by Frontier), dynamicsoft (acquired by Cisco), Monterey Networks (acquired by Cisco), PairGain (acquired by ADC) and Ascendent Systems (acquired by RIM).

Anton Levy

Anton J. Levy leads General Atlantic's Consumer, Media and Marketing Services sector. Mr. Levy has worked closely with many General Atlantic portfolio companies and currently serves on the board of directors of Dice Inc., Webloyalty, and ZANTAZ. He has extensive experience investing in growth companies with specific expertise working with marketing services, financial services, consumer-focused and healthcare-related information technology companies.
