Zvents is a local events search technology company that makes it easy for people to find out about events that may be going on in their local metropolitan area. The company was founded in March 2005 to discover events in the Bay Area, but has since expanded to include information about events in other cities as well. Zvents has also partnered with media organizations including the San Jose Mercury News, Miami Herald, Denver Post, and others by providing these publishers with the Zvents Media Platform. This platform provides publishers with an effective local event aggregator as well as an opportunity to increase advertising revenue and cross-site traffic.
