Google will be the next Microsoft

I was having a discussion with a group of Microsoft employees about the future of Microsoft (Bill Gates has left, company loosing money, lack of innovation) compared to Google. What are your thoughts?

Just to clarify. I personaly believe in Microsoft as an industry leader, and as a wise future investment.
