Aaron Mendes
Aaron doesn't have a fancy M.B.A. from Harvard. He didn't start a hugely successful company, sell it for $100 million, and this isn't his next new venture. In fact, he's just a normal guy who knows how to make websites and likes to have fun and enjoy life.
Aaron grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated cum laude from Syracuse University in 2002 with a B.S. in management, specializing in entrepreneurship. After that he lived in Sydney Australia for a year as an account manager for a small venture capital company called MentorVest Partners. Then at the age of 22 and 1/2, he somehow scored a Director of Marketing position for a small software company in San Diego called Earnware Corporation. After a couple years he was promoted to Vice President of Marketing.
While at Earnware, Aaron helped launch Wellness.com, which is now a rapidly growing online health and wellness community with approx. 4 million page views per month. He still works as Chief Marketing Officer for Wellness.com and Vice President of Marketing for Earnware.
Aaron lives in Encinitas, a beach community in North County San Diego with his fiancee Maggie. He loves to surf, mountain bike, play guitar and piano, write, invest, start businesses, international travel, and spending time with Maggie.
