Adam Bruce

Adam’s fascination with the world of automotive social networking began in 1994, when a good friend showed him that there were mailing lists and newsgroups where people did nothing but talk about cars. He’s been hooked ever since, and has spent oceans of time using the Internet as a tool to further his car passion.
In order to fund the expense of modifying cars, motorcycles or anything with an internal combustion engine, Adam has held positions such as graphic artist for Internet eLearning systems in the early 1990s; project manger at Siebel consulting companies; and most recently (2000 to 2004) account manager for some of telecommunications largest and most complex customers. Over the past 13 years though, Adam has found the greatest satisfaction working for start-ups, and in 2004 he saw a need for easily sharing automotive media with fellow enthusiasts, a need recognized by long-time friends and car-racing buddies Chris and Jeremy. Adam met Jeremy at a racing event in Florida, and Chris at a drag strip in Georgia. The three decided the best way to further fund their passion for cars was to take StreetFire.net from a small experimental Web site into a real portal for enthusiasts to share videos, pictures, and just generally gab about cars.
Today, more than 13 years after first discovering car lovers could use the Internet to meet fellow enthusiasts, Adam works to enable fellow enthusiasts from around the world share their passion. He couldn’t have dreamed of a better home.
