Adam Grosser

Adam brings a fresh focus, entrepreneurial verve and substantial experience to Silver Spring Networks. Prior to joining Foundation Capital, Adam was president of Excite@Home’s 1400-person Subscriber Networks division with responsibility over residential broadband sales and marketing, commercial accounts, customer care and an integrated engineering, network and product operations team. He was the founder, president and CEO of Catapult Entertainment, steering the company through its sale to Mpath Interactive in 1996 and subsequent IPO. Infused with a love of technology and art, Adam builds boats and planes, bikes avidly and adopts rhinos and manatees for unsuspecting friends. Adam is a lecturer at the UCLA School of Film and Television, contributes to NPR’s Marketplace and holds bachelors, master's and MBA degrees from Stanford University.
