Albert Bandura
Recognized as the most eminent living psychologist by the American Psychological Association, Professor Albert Bandura is the father of social cognitive theory. In 1953, Bandura joined the faculty at Stanford University, where he has remained throughout his career. Bandura’s research at Stanford centered on the prominent role of social modeling in human motivation, thought, and action, including extensive research into health behavior change.
