Aneel Bhusri

Aneel Bhusri joined Greylock in 1999 from PeopleSoft, where he was named vice chairman (1999-2001) after several years as the company’s senior vice president in charge of product strategy, business development and marketing.

At PeopleSoft, he was responsible for developing and guiding all product strategy, corporate and product marketing. He led the company’s business development efforts in key areas such as new product development, vertical market initiatives and corporate expansion. Prior to PeopleSoft, Aneel held positions in both venture capital and corporate finance.

He holds an MBA from Stanford University and a bachelor of science and arts in Electrical Engineering and Economics from Brown University.

In addition to serving on the PeopleSoft Board, Aneel currently serves on the Boards of Above All Software, Perfigo, PolyServe, Cape Clear, Corio (CRIO), Data Domain, Fogbreak, and Trusted Data. Aneel also represents Greylock’s investments in Symphoniq and Unicru. He formerly served on the boards of Vantive (acquired by PeopleSoft) and See Beyond (SBYN).

He was named to Upside’s 1998 Elite 100, the magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people of the digital world.
