Ariel Cattan
Mr. Cattan has over 20 years of experience in research and development of large-scale systems and products. Prior to joining CheckM8, Mr. Cattan was a Director of R&D at RADVISION (NASDQ: RVSN), the industry-leading technology provider for unified visual communications of high definition video-conferencing and converged video telephony over IP, 3G and emerging next generation networks. As Director of R&D, Ariel lead the development of RADVISION's Interactive Video Platform, building it from the ground-up to become a leading Video Media Server for 3G mobile operators.
Before joining RADVISION, Mr. Cattan served as the VP of R&D at Ayeca Inc., a privately held company that develops cutting-edge campaign management products for the telecom market. At Ayeca, Ariel was in charge of leading the research and development of middleware at the core of the merging mobile and m-commerce applications market. Prior to joining Ayeca, Mr. Cattan served as a Director of R&D at Comverse (NASDQ: CMVT), the global leader of software and systems enabling network-based messaging, converged billing and IP communications. At Comverse, Ariel was responsible for heading the development of various products in the areas of Digital Telephony, SMS and Mobile Internet.
Mr. Cattan holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Tel-Aviv University. Ariel distinguishly served in the Israeli Defense Forces, where he was responsible for the introduction of large telecommunications and radio systems.
